Dr Rosa Cisneros is a dancer and researcher, she has worked for over 25 years in art, research, consulting, and filmmaking, using her dance, filmmaking, and writing skills to create spaces for those often excluded. She is the director of RosaSenCis film Production, that aims to create dance films and documentaries that capture stories and reflect embodied traditions that might otherwise be lost. Her dance films have screened in the UK, US, Colombia, Mexico, Greece, Cyprus and Germany. She has co-authored papers on ethics within dance, intersectionality, and led projects that explore ethical methods and equitable practices. Rosa Cisneros is involved in various EU funded projects which aim to make education accessible to vulnerable groups and ethnic minorities. She is an artist-researcher at Coventry University’s Centre for Dance Research based in the UK.
