Lisa Smith is a founding member of AVAZYA The European Roma Film Professionals Network. She is a creative producer whose most recent works include an animated documentary series exploring war crimes against Sinti and Roma during WW2 with the association RomaTrial e.V. The films are part of a permanent open-air exhibition at the Memorial to the Sinti and Roma of Europe murdered under National Socialism in Berlin. She is founder of Patrin Films Ltd a collective that amplifies Romani perspectives through the production of fiction and documentary films. Her debut feature documentary ‘The Stopping Places’ was selected for the European Film Market Toolbox Initiative 2023.
