Evangelia Goula is a visual artist and documentary filmmaker within the realm of Cinematic Observation. In 2011, she graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts, and later she completed her extended academic journey in the postgraduate program "Digital Art Forms". She approaches sensitive issues of social and anthropological nature through her artistic lens. Her art has been shown in Greek exhibitions, and her films at Greek and international festivals, earning multiple awards. In 2017, she completed her first and award-winning film “Itsai Romni”, focusing on the position of Roma women, with an implicit comment on woman’s position in contemporary society.
