Kristóf Horváth

Kristóf Horváth is actor, writer, director and drama teacher. He defines himself as a useful artist–art is not the goal, but the tool. He is the founder of T6 Troup, a gathering place for young Roma talents. They have created several theatre pieces and slam poetry videos. Their most famous play „Gypsy Hungarian” was performed over 50 times, and nominated for best alternative theatre play in 2019. The screenplay of the movie „3000 numbered pieces” was written based on this play, and the main characters are played by the members of the troupe. The filmwon several awards in international film festivals. He works for LORCA foundation, organizing educational projects with fellow artists for village schools, involving the children in creative processes. The focus of their work is on mental health, inspiring children and teachers to grow a vocabulary for emotions, to improve self-awareness and communicational skills.
