Vicente Rodríguez Fernández

Vicente Rodríguez Fernández is writer, directorand producer, cartoonist and pop culture expert. Heraises awareness on the discrimination of the Roma people while questioning the world around himself in his art and activism, often imbued by the absurd and surreal. In 2024 he was selected to participate in the EFM Doc Toolbox programme. He's currently shooting “Welcome to Gitania” an epic documentary that follows the struggle of an eccentric group of Romani and Traveler nerds as they try to create a Messianic kingdom for 12 Million Romapeoplein the abandoned countryside of Spain.
