Sejad Ademaj
Sejad Ademaj was born in 1991 in Montenegro. As a son of a Montenegrin Roma family, he lived in Germany from 1991 to 2008 with only the status of “tolerance permit”. This period was marked by constant uncertainty and the threat of being deported. He completed his bachelor's degree in media design and production at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg in 2020. Subsequently, he began his screenplay studies at the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg. Due to the great success of his film "Fifteen Minutes", which premiered at the Hofer Filmtage in 2022 and was nominated for several short film awards, he was offered a change to the course of Scenic Directing. Sejad writes and directs on topics such as (anti-Muslim) racism, ethnic minorities, and socioeconomic background.
