Sejad Ademaj
Sejad Ademaj first studied screenwriting and has been studying directing at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy since 2022. As the son of a Montenegrin Roma family, he lived in Germany from 1991 to 2008 with a tolerated stay permit, marked by uncertainty and the threat of deportation. After high school, he trained as an event manager and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Media Design and Production in 2020. Sejad began his screenwriting studies at the Film Academy in 2020. His second-year film “Fifteen Minutes” premiered at the 2022 Hof Film Festival, won several awards, and led him to switch to directing. His new film, “Deutsche Sprache, schwere Sprache,” premiered at the 2023 Hof Film Festival.
