Roman Ďuriš

Roman Ďuriš was born in 1988 in Levice, Slovakia. He graduated in 2018 from the Film and TV Directing program at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (FTF VŠMU). His graduation film, “Something is Happening”, premiered at the 41st Cairo International Film Festival (2019) in the Cinema of Tomorrow competition. His latest project, “Fakir”, which participated in Ex Oriente, IDFA Project Space, and Dok.incubator, and won the Best Pitch Award at Bratislava Industry Days, had its world premiere at DOK.fest Munich 2024 and was featured in several other festivals.
