Paloma Zapata

Paloma Zapata has a degree in fine artsand a master's degree in creative documentary film. She founded her production company La Fábrica Naranja in Barcelona in 2008. Her international career to date has included stints as a director, editor and producer of music videos. In 2020, her film “PERET: YO SOY LA RUMBA”was nominated for the Gaudí Award of the Catalan Film Academy and received the Yalta and DocsValencia Ministry of Culture Award (2020). The project was selected for the international programme Circle Women Doc Accelerator (2022-23).
