The world through the eyes of Hungarian Roma painter Mara “Omara” Olah. Abel Santa’s posthumous short documentary tells her story of moving into a new village, the hatred and judgement she faced as a minority resident, and how she overcame these with wit and resilience. The film also takes us through a visual journey of her works, giving us insights into her culture, philosophy, and unforgettable style, both on the canvas and in life.
