Katarína Gramatová
Katarína Gramatová began her film career working as a film editor. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in 2023. Her directorial debut, a short film titled “Cherries,” won a Special Jury Prize at the Zlín Film Festival. Her following short film, a hybrid documentary “A Good Mind Grows in Thorny Places,” received accolades at festivals worldwide, premiering at the Krakow Film Festival, followed by a selection in the Future Frames program at the Karlovy Vary, and winning a Special Mention Prize at the ElbeDock Film Festival. Her debut feature film, “Promise, I’ll Be Fine,” is a Slovak-Czech co-production, funded by both countries’ national film funds.
