Abel Santa
Born in Szeged, Hungary, near the Serbian-Romanian border, Abel Santa’s journey began in a culturally rich region that influenced his storytelling. He later moved to Budapest before relocating to Los Angeles to study Neuroscience and Stem Cell Biology at USC. A film class in his first year ignited a passion for cinema, steering him into filmmaking. His second short documentary “Omara” continues his exploration of deep human emotions and cultural narratives, establishing him as a rising talent in the world of filmmaking. He credits his background in science as a major source of inspiration for movies and their aesthetics.
