Told through the voice of the last remaining elder born on Sound Common and the lived testimony of other British Romanichal, this short film honours a sacred place and a stolen legacy. In the 1960s, Romani families were forcibly removed from Sound Common, Cheshire. What was once an Atchin Tan, a stopping place filled with life, ritual, and belonging, was erased from public memory. This film is a reclamation of British Romani History.
