When Rupi (17) raps, the room falls quiet. Almost every day, he meets his brother Tando and their cousins Nero and Elgo at the local youth center. As “Jungs aus Chb,” they write and rap about love, money, and the things that shape their everyday lives. Their identity as Roma is part of their perspective and flows through their lyrics, just like their friendship and their language. A sensitive short film about growing up and rap as a form of self-expression and community.
